The 2012 TIME 100 Poll is now closed!
Well done everyone who supported Benedict Cumberbatch by voting for him and creating so many wonderful #VoteBenedictToWin campaign posters, and lots and lots of you did…
Benedict received a STAGGERING 91,846 ‘yes’ votes and finished in 7th position in a the public vote, ranking him considerably higher than world leaders such as Barack Obama and David Cameron and Hollywood A-Listers Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which is absolutely extraordinary!!!
Now, it’s up to the TIME Editors to decide upon the final list, which will be revealed on Tuesday, April 17 and so all that’s left to do, is to wish Benedict the best of luck!
