We’re pleased to present a new monthly feature, a guide to one-off or limited Sherlock related events that you may not be aware of throughout the remaining months of the year. PARADE’S END SCREENING AT THE GHENT FILM FESTIVAL

Benedict Cumberbatch will be in attendance for a complete screening of Parade’s End at the Ghent Film Festival in Belgium on October 11 2012 from 19:00, alongside director Susanna White, composer Dirk Brosse and producer David Parfitt. 55 DAYS with MARK GATISS

SHERLOCK HOLMES - A STUDY IN FEAR

Playing until October 27 around the UK, starring Nick Briggs (The voice of the Daleks and Cybermen!) and Ian Sharrock, a new play re-telling the famous confrontation between Holmes and his nemesis Professor Moriarty.

BFI TV PREVIEW AND Q&A: HORROR EUROPA WITH MARK GATISS

Mark Gatiss follows up his acclaimed BBC Four series A History of Horror with a feature-length exploration of European horror cinema. From the nightmare visions of German Expressionism to the black-gloved killers of Italian Giallo movies, from Belgian lesbian vampires to the ghosts of the Spanish Civil War, Gatiss shows how the continent’s turbulent 20th century forged an extraordinary and diverse horror tradition. THE TROJAN WOMEN with LOUISE BREALEY

The Sherlock Seattle Convention is a celebration of all things Sherlock and as such will be featuring many interesting and informative panels, fun and entertaining events, as well as a large screen presentation of BBC’s television production, SHERLOCK: Season 2 - A Scandal in Belgravia, The Hounds of Baskerville, and The Reichenbach Fall!
