Rather alarmingly, we checked our calendar this morning and realised that a year ago today - At 18:26BST to be precise - we set up our Twitter account… and thus, Sherlockology was born.

Unfortunately, that first tweet is lost to the mists of time - mainly due to Twitter only caching 3200 tweets into the past - but memory serves it involved a joke alerting everyone that we WERE able to recognise that the Earth does indeed travel around the sun, unlike a certain Consulting Detective…

It’s been a crazy, entertaining journey for us so far, and we hope you’re all enjoying it too. There’s plenty more from us to come as Sherlock Series 3 begins production next year.

Now, all of us here need to go out for cake. And find a candle.
