NEW INFORMATION FOR THE GAME IS ON: AN AFTERNOON WITH MARK GATISS AND FRIENDS
We’ve received further event information for this Sunday’s Sherlock related extravaganza, in support of the London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard, featuring Mark Gatiss, Martin Freeman, Rupert Graves, Louise Brealey, Una Stubbs, Steven Moffat, and Sue Vertue. Although previously billed, Andrew Scott is now no longer able to attend due to filming commitments.
- You have until 17:30GMT on Friday 9 November 2012 to submit questions for participants to thegameison@llgs.org.uk.
- The event will run from 15:00GMT to around 17:15GMT, with a 15 minute interval.
- A small number of additional tickets will be released later this week. @gayswitchboard will advise fans when they are available.
- An audio recording of the event will be made so that any Sherlock fans who are unable to attend can enjoy it too.
- As guests will have a limited amount of time there will not be opportunity for a signing, however a number of pre-signed posters will be sold on the day.

HORROR EUROPA with MARK GATISS – REVIEW and BFI Q&A REPORT
A continuation from his excellent three part 2010 documentary series A History of Horror, Mark Gatiss leads us on a tour of some of the horror films of western Europe over the last hundred years, examining the changing influences that defined the genre throughout the continent.
A historical retelling with a striking twist, 55 Days is a new play written by Howard Brenton and directed by Howard Davis, featuring Mark Gatiss in the crucial role of King Charles I, imprisoned and on trial for his life. It tells of the momentous events leading to 30 January 1649, where the king, having been effectively deposed by opponents in parliament led by Oliver Cromwell, was put to death.

Further to yesterday’s announcement of The Game is On: An Afternoon with Mark Gatiss & Friends, taking place on November 11 2012 at the Criterion Theatre in London and in support of London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard, the full Sherlock related guest list has been revealed. Actor and writer Mark Gatiss will host an exclusive fundraiser on Sunday 11th November (3:00 pm at The Criterion Theatre, London) in support of London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard. The Game Is On: An Afternoon with Mark Gatiss & Friends will feature a Q&A session with Mark and special guests from his career working on hit shows such as BBC1’s ‘Sherlock’. Fans will have the opportunity to participate by submitting questions via email in advance to thegameison@llgs.org.uk.
