The Awards were handed out this evening (October 18th 2012) at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. A television broadcast of the event will be shown in the UK on ITV3 at 21:00BST on October 23rd 2012.
Now entering their fifth successful year in partnership with ITV3 and Specsavers, the Crime Thriller Awards (in association with the Crime Writers’ Association) are set for another seven-week season of ITV3 crime and drama programming, culminating in the Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards – a glittering occasion at London’s Grosvenor House – which is televised as the finale of the seven week season.

Another new case for Agatha Christie’s famous amateur sleuth. After the arrival of beautiful young American Bridget Conway, several inhabitants of the village of Wychwood-under-Ashe die unexpectedly. No-one suspects that a killer is at work, but as the deaths continue Miss Marple joins forces with the handsome Luke Fitzwilliam to investigate. They gradually unearth a secret so shocking that it cannot be forgotten.
It’s worth noting this on the same time as Andrew Scott’s upcoming new thriller Blackout which is on BBC1 at 9pm. You could always watch Marple on ITV3+1 if you have that option.
