Mayor of London are auctioning off the Olympic mascot sculptures which are dotted around London and currently up for sale is Sherlock Wenlock.

Sadly he is already (way) out of our price range, but we can dream…

Exercise your mind and celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games Sherlock style.We have 10 London 2012 Black Taxi die-cast model replicas to give away which have been kindly provided by British toy and model company Hornby. The famous ‘black cab’ is universally recognised as a symbol of London and is Sherlock and John’s transport of choice.

For your chance to win one of these London 2012 Great British Classic Limited Edition black taxis, all you need to do is help Sherlock manoeuvre his way through the traffic jams so he can continue on to the Olympic Stadium.

To celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games, Mayor of London Presents has created a series of discovery trails featuring the Olympic mascots decorated as various London landmarks and characters, one being of particular interest to us; Sherlock Wenlock.

N.B. We’ve noticed there’s a competition to win an entire collection of mascot figurines daily when you tweet a photo of you with any of the discovery trail mascots, along with the hashtag #MyMascot. If you find Sherlock on the trail and want to share pictures of him, there could thus be a nice little bonus!
