After reading today in the InStyle magazine that Benedict Cumberbatch had recorded a part on The Simpsons we did a little Google and found this gem of Fan Art.
The original post can be seen here (just scroll down a bit).
NOTE: This is FAN ART and not what will be in the actual show. We’ve no idea what Benedict recorded for the episode that he makes a cameo appearance in.
UPDATE:
After a little digging, we’ve discovered Benedict visited The Simpsons offices and recorded his cameo around May 17/18 this year.
A typical single episode of The Simpsons takes roughly five to seven months to produce from scratch, with scripting, vocal work and animation occuring simultaneously for the entire season. His visit to the writers room and subsequent recording for an episode in May would place him in the production schedule for Season 24 of the show, which begins airing on FOX from September 30 2012. Though nothing can be guaranteed due to broadcast scheduling, it looks quite possible that Benedict’s appearance would be in the earlier stages of Season 24.
